The area of Trentino coincides with the Autonomous Province Trento and comprises the South part of the Autonomous Region Trentino-Südtirol. The area is mainly mountainous. Anyway, Trentino offers an extremely varied landscape, with imposing peaks and valleys and plains with a Mediterranean climate: a land offering many natural and landscape treasures, but also historic and cultural attractions. This is the reason why it has always been beloved by tourists from all over the world.
The area of Südtirol coincides with the Autonomous Province Bolzano and comprises the North area of the Autonomous Region Trentino-Südtirol. This is the only province in Italy which is entirely mountainous. Südtirol boasts an unpolluted territory of incomparable beauty, with many of the most imposing and charming mountain groups of the Dolomites, infinite passes, valleys, rivers and lakes; a landscape which constantly surprises, and is really worth discovering.
