The main source of income is represented by the porphyry industry, but agriculture also plays a significant role. In the characteristic terraced fields grapes are indeed produced in large quantities and used for precious wines such as Nosiola, Cabernet and Pinot Nero. As far as artistic monuments are concerned, the most important ones are the Gothic S. Pietro church and Maria Assunta church.
In the area there are numerous outing possibilities such as the walking tour which, from the Lago Santo covers the Val d'Adige (Adige Valley) side and gets to Zise. Sport fans will have the chance to practice a lot of activities: from rides to walks in the woods, from mountain bike trips to fishing on the lake. In S. Rocco a multivalent area groups a playground, a skating rink, a football field, a bowling alley and a tennis court. During the winter months an artificial curling track is also at work.
